Lazinger discusses growing up in a patriotic Jewish family, serving in the Peace Corps in Colombia, and resisting the actions of the United States government in the Vietnam War. He describes anti-war rallies and demonstrations and the Army Math Research Center bombing at the University of Wisconsin in Madison.
